yes, and i appreciate the links/heavy-lifting. not saying i like knoll because i thinkthey sound like those bands, only that their sound makes me think of both.
love that beyond the grasp of light e.p. aptly titled. also dig that knoll record. knoll remind me of full of hell crossed with mr. bungle (at their most furious), no? and that bad breeding album kicks a great deal of ass. don’t think i’ve even heard of most of the other acts listed. -to the internet! (aside from immolation and voivod, of course. hard to go wrong with them. they’re like the ramones or the ac/dc of their respective niches.)
